The Inspiration Behind My Journey

It was my long-term dream to become a Dog Trainer as I have grown up with dogs around me, and I love training them. But COVID changed my entire perspective, and I made an immediate decision to pursue the professional training. My professional training journey began in June 2022 after I completed my Certification Course from Shirin Merchant Dog Training Institute, Mumbai.

Training That Truly Works

When the dog is happily wagging its tail on seeing the trainer, the parents are more than happy as they love their pet. I ensure that the pet does everything happily, and I never use harsh training methods. I train pets with the Positive Reinforcement method. Parents love it when I educate them and enhance their knowledge about dogs and their body language.

There are a lot of puppies who don’t want to leave me after the training sessions, which surprises me a lot

about the fact that how spending small time with dogs can create a lifetime bond with them.

More Than Pets—They’re Family Now

Over the years, they have become ‘Parents’ from ‘Owners’. People have become more empathetic towards their pets; pampering has increased a lot. An increasing number of people feed their pet with their hands, as the furry friend doesn’t eat on his own. These days, there are no set boundaries or rules for the pet.

The pet parent community is undergoing a shift from keeping pets for security to viewing them as an integral part of the family and pampering them a lot. Urban Loneliness Epidemic is also a big contributor to this transformation.

Love, Learn, Repeat

Training the dog has hardly been a challenge compared to humans. There is so much to learn from dogs. And then you get abundant love from them in return, which makes my job more exciting.

At the end of the day, ‘It is a dog’. Dogs love their routine, and you must set boundaries. If you don’t train him, then don’t blame him.
